Liselore began a course in blacksmithing, and through learning and making, her perception of the city gradually shifted. Metal structures that had always been part of the urban fabric began to stand out, as if they had only just appeared. This shift resonates with the Baader–Meinhof phenomenon, where newly learned attention makes familiar elements suddenly visible all around.
By walking through the city with these curls, they become a method for framing, tracing, and recognising different layers of craftsmanship, linking the embodied learning of a skill to a renewed reading of the urban texture and its hidden metal gestures.
